Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school, marking a remarkable personal and professional milestone in her ongoing journey to become a lawyer.
The reality star turned justice reform advocate shared the news through photos and videos of an intimate backyard graduation ceremony. In one video, her sister Khloe can be heard announcing, “Surprise graduation!”—highlighting the moment with emotional cheer.
Attorney Jessica Jackson, a key mentor and legal advisor to Kardashian, delivered a heartfelt speech during the ceremony. “Six years ago, Kim Kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice,” she said. “No law school lectures, no ivory tower shortcuts, just determination and a mountain of case law books to read.”
Jackson further revealed that Kardashian logged 5,184 hours of legal study over six years. All this while she raised four children, ran multiple businesses, filmed television content, and appeared in courtrooms as a passionate advocate for criminal justice reform.

Kardashian’s legal efforts have already made a tangible impact. Most notably, she helped secure the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a first-time nonviolent drug offender who had served 21 years in prison. Kardashian’s petition to then-President Donald Trump led to Johnson’s sentence being commuted in 2018, followed by a full pardon in 2020.
In one of the ceremony’s most touching moments, Kardashian held her certificate of completion proudly on stage, with friends and family cheering her on. She also shared a photo of her late father, Robert Kardashian, a well-known attorney best remembered for his role in the O.J. Simpson trial, underscoring her deep personal connection to the legal field.
Kardashian's graduation is not just a personal triumph but a signal of her serious commitment to justice and legal reform.
