Mohammad Rizwan has become the first Pakistani batter to be retired out for slow scoring and tactical reasons in T20 cricket.
According to details, during a Big Bash League match between Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder, Rizwan was retired out by the Renegades captain after scoring 26 runs off 23 balls. This marked the first time a foreign player in the BBL has been retired out.
The incident sparked widespread discussion among fans on social media. Will Sutherland came in to replace Rizwan at the crease.

Separately on Sunday, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Australia batter Steve Smith opened an innings together for the first time in cricket history during a rain-affected Big Bash League match.
The landmark pairing took place for Sydney Sixers against Hobart Hurricanes at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday, January 11. The match, however, was abandoned because of rain after just five overs of play.
