In a recent video, Pakistani TikTok celebrity Kanwal Aftab surprised her fans by sharing a very personal story about her father.
On their YouTube account, the TikToker and her spouse, Zulqarnain Sikandar, answered fan's questions concerning her father's absence.
She said, "I usually don't talk about my father because it makes me emotional," pointing out that discussing family issues is sensitive, particularly when it involves trauma from the past.
When she was in the third grade, she revealed that her parents had separated. "My father left us at my grandmother's house and never returned," she stated. She was expelled from school as a result of his failure to pay her school fees following their separation.
Kanwal stated that her mother and maternal uncles never stopped her from meeting her father, despite the rift between the families. She still sees him occasionally, but he avoids social media, so he hasn't shown up in any of her videos.
In 2021, Kanwal Aftab tied the knot with fellow TikToker Zulqarnain Sikandar, and they welcomed their daughter last year.
