Opening batter Sahibzada Farhan said that he “rarely celebrates after scoring fifty runs,” but chose to celebrate when he reached the milestone against India.
“When I scored a fifty against India, I immediately thought of celebrating,” Farhan told reporters in Dubai.
“People don’t know what my celebration will mean, but it doesn’t matter,” he added.
Farhan also praised opening partner Fakhar Zaman, saying his aggressive style of play gave him confidence.

“It was fun opening with Fakhar Zaman. I have worked hard to hit sixes and Insha Allah, we will win the match against Sri Lanka. All the players are confident for the next matches,” he said.
“It was not a one-sided match against India, we took it till the end. We will meet India again in the final,” he concluded.
Haris Rauf responds to trolling with ‘six-zero’ gesture
Earlier, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf responded to taunts from Indian spectators during the Pakistan–India encounter. The pacer gestured with his hand, showing six fingers in the form of “six-zero” — a reference to Pakistan’s claim of downing six Indian fighter jets, including Rafales, in a past military confrontation.
The gesture immediately went viral, sparking debate on social media.
