Former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhry has taken a sarcastic swipe at India-based musician Adnan Sami after Sami showed off his newly customised in-ear monitors featuring the Indian flag.
Adnan Sami, who renounced his Pakistani citizenship in 2016 and now lives in Mumbai, shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), unveiling the monitors he had specially designed for his live concerts in India.
“Just received my customised ‘In Ear Monitors’ from @ultimateearspro in USA for my live concerts! These are my 2nd pair & they sound incredible…They made this design with the Indian flag, especially upon my request,” Sami wrote in his post.
Fawad Chaudhry, in his signature mocking tone, responded to Sami’s post, suggesting the singer was going overboard to prove his allegiance to India. “Order some brain as well, Ears pro is too little for you,” Chaudhry posted in reply.

This is not the first time the former minister has trolled Adnan Sami in recent months. Just last month, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Chaudhry took another jab when the Indian government directed all Pakistani citizens to leave India. “What about Adnan Sami?” he quipped on social media.
Adnan Sami didn’t stay silent and fired back at Chaudhry, calling him an “illiterate idiot” and questioning his credentials as a former minister. “To think that you were Minister of (Mis) Information and have no knowledge of any information… And you were Minister of Science?” Sami wrote.
