A loud explosion was heard in the Barki area of Lahore on Thursday morning, following an earlier shooting down of an Indian drone on the city's Walton Road.
According to initial reports, the sound of the blast caused panic among residents, who alerted the authorities. Police teams rushed to the scene and have begun investigating the incident.
Officials say they are currently working to determine the exact location and nature of the explosion.
