The Pakistan government has finalized all arrangements for the medical treatment of a group of ailing children who recently returned from India, following special directives from Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, the initiative to provide timely care to the children was made possible through the efforts of Minister Mustafa Kamal.
“The government will bear the full cost of the children's medical treatment,” the spokesperson said, emphasizing that no financial burden will be placed on the affected families.
In coordination with the Directorate General of Health, arrangements have been made to treat the children at the prestigious Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in Islamabad.
Efforts are currently underway to transfer the children from Karachi to Islamabad to begin their treatment at the earliest, the ministry added.
