President Zardari’s Message
President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, in his Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 AH (2025) message, congratulated the nation and the Muslim Ummah on this joyous occasion. He emphasized that Eid is a divine reward following the month of fasting, prayers, and spiritual purification during Ramadan.
He stated that Ramadan teaches patience, tolerance, worship, and charity, and now it is the responsibility of every individual to continue practicing these values in daily life with sincerity, honesty, and kindness.
The president also urged people to remember those facing economic hardships, stressing that true happiness lies in sharing joy with others. He encouraged the payment of Zakat, Sadaqah, and Fitrana to ensure that no needy person is deprived of Eid celebrations.
He highlighted the importance of national unity and solidarity, calling for collective efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
Additionally, President Zardari expressed his solidarity with the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, praying for their freedom and the opportunity to celebrate future Eids in peace.
He concluded by praying for the acceptance of fasting and prayers and for Pakistan’s peace and prosperity.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Message
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 AH message, extended heartfelt greetings to the Pakistani nation. He emphasized that Eid is a day of gratitude, brotherhood, and compassion, reminding people to uphold the values of piety, patience, and sacrifice even after Ramadan.
The prime minister warned that Pakistan faces internal and external threats, urging unity against extremism, hatred, and sectarianism. He stressed the need for national solidarity to protect the country’s integrity and thwart any conspiracies.
Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to economic recovery, law and order, and social stability, calling on all Pakistanis to work together for the nation’s progress.
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces in the fight against terrorism, remembering the martyrs who laid down their lives for peace. He also offered prayers for the victims of the Jaafar Express tragedy and expressed solidarity with their families.
The prime minister urged the nation to remember oppressed communities worldwide, particularly the people of Palestine and Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who continue their struggle for freedom.
