PML-N senior leader Khawaja Asif has said that people from all cities of the country are going to Lahore to receive and welcome Nawaz Sharif.
“Everyone can see that there is a lot of activity at the Minar-e-Pakistan rally venue for the last two days. It’ll be a gigantic gathering today,” Asif said while speaking to the media in Sialkot.
This will be the biggest rally of his 35-year political career, the former minister said. “People know Nawaz Sharif will bring about prosperity,” he claimed.
He added that whenever Nawaz Sharif came to power, he brought about development and prosperity. “Mian sahib clearly stated that we are the May 28 ones,” he recalled.
Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan an atomic power, he went on to say, adding that the PPP is still functional after the hanging of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. However, there is no one to name those who hanged Bhutto, he stressed.
