People's Bus Service on Friday announced the launch of three new routes in port city Karachi to facilitate the Karachiites.
Sind Transport Department said route-13 will be operational from Hawke's Bay to Tower and it will commence on 22nd July while route-12 will be extended and it will be operational from Quaidabad, Korangi, Memongoth to Tawart from July 23.
Electric Bus EV-4 new route will be from Bahria Town to Exhibition Chowrangi and it will start from 24 July. Route 8 from Yusuf Goth to Tower will start on July 25.
Sharjeel Memon said new routes are part of the Sindh government's efforts to boost public transport in Karachi with an objective of introducing the routes is to provide affordable, convenient and comfortable travel facilities for the citizens.
“More buses will be brought and more new routes will be started for the convenience of citizens,” he said.
He said serving the people without discrimination is the commitment of the Sindh government.
