Monsoon rains started in Lahore Thursday while cloudy and sunny weather would continue throughout the day while maximum temperature will be recorded at 36 degrees and minimum at 28 degrees.
Monsoon rains are ready to fall in Lahore, according to the Meteorological Department while the rain spell will start this evening.
“This series of monsoon rains will continue till July 21,” the Meteorological Department said. The humidity ratio in the air is 74% while the winds are moving at a speed of 3 to 4 kilometers per hour. The rain will continue throughout the day.
After possible rains, the temperature will drop further, Meteorological department said.
