Indian Punjab’s Fazlika Jalalabad court sent Punjab Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira to police custody till September 30 in connection with a drug case.
Khaira was arrested by Indian Punjab Police under the NDPS Act.
The NDPS case was filed against Khaira in 2015.
Cops from Jalalabad police station raided Khaira’s Sector 5 residence in Chandigarh.
Khaira did a Facebook live as cops raided his residence to arrest him.
Congress leader alleged that his arrest is politically motivated.
