A Pakistani pilgrim gave birth to a healthy baby boy at Jabalur Rahma Hospital in the Arafat field today.
This marks the first birth in Arafat field this year, adding a unique moment to the spiritual journey of millions of Muslims.
The mother, who has chosen to remain anonymous and declined to have her picture taken, delivered her baby in the 37th week of pregnancy. The newborn, weighing 3 kg and 40 grams, is in good health according to hospital sources.
The medical team, led by the doctor in charge of the delivery, confirmed that both the mother and baby are doing well and have been kept under observation for further examination.

Dr. Amina Al-Sheikh, the lead doctor, expressed her delight at the successful delivery, noting the baby's healthy weight and normal condition. "The birth of a child is always a joyous occasion, and it is even more special to witness such an event during the Hajj. Both the mother and child are in stable condition and we are closely monitoring them to ensure their continued well-being," she said.
This extraordinary event took place against the backdrop of the Day of Arafat, one of the most significant days in the Islamic calendar, where millions of pilgrims gathered to pray on Mount Arafat. The convergence of the faithful at Mount Arafat is considered the climax of the Hajj pilgrimage, symbolizing forgiveness and mercy.
