Belonging to Bhimbar Trar tehsil and district, of Islamabad, sepoy Naeem Akhtar's family expressed deep pride and grief over his sacrifice. His brother shared heartfelt memories, describing Naeem as unique and dedicated to joining the Pakistan Army from a young age.
"Naeem was unique among all of us brothers since childhood," he recalled. "Since childhood, my brother wanted to join the Pakistan Army. He was the youngest but still cared for everyone in the family and loved him very much."
The family fondly remembers his respectful and caring nature. "When he used to come home on leave, he used to treat everyone in the family very politely and politely," his brother added. "My brother was a priceless diamond that we will never forget. We are proud of the martyrdom of our brother, who sacrificed his life in defense of this country."
His widow shared her profound sorrow and pride. "When I found out about my husband's martyrdom, the ground fell out from under my feet," she said. "I didn't believe his testimony at all and felt like I was dreaming. I am very proud of my husband's martyrdom because a martyr has a great status."
She expressed her faith and acceptance, saying, "My husband's martyrdom was a great test for me from Allah and Allah gave me patience. Alhamdulillah, I am satisfied with the pleasure of Allah. My husband's martyrdom is a great honor given to us by Allah. I pray to Allah that Allah may raise the ranks of my husband."
Sepoy Naeem Akhtar's father also shared his feelings of pride and loss. "My son respected me a lot and obeyed everything I said," he said. "I pray to Allah that Allah bless my son wherever he goes, because he sacrificed his life for his country. My son dwells in my heart because he lifted my head with pride. I pray that Allah grants him Paradise."
The family collectively urges the nation to honor the sacrifices of martyrs like Sepoy Naeem Akhtar. His brother emphasized, "My message to the nation is to always stand by our martyrs and not let their sacrifices go in vain. My message to the soldiers of Pakistan Army is to fight the enemy elements and defend their country. We stand side by side with our Pak Army and always will."
