A formal probe has been launched into the ruckus that took place on the arrival of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, at the Punjab Assembly.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has forwarded the report of the incident to the Punjab Home Department for further action. In the light of the report, evidence will also be collected from other law enforcement agencies.
The IGP Office has informed the Punjab Assembly Secretariat regarding action on the report. The report of the ruckus has been compiled by a special committee of the Punjab Assembly.
