The Pakistan Cricket Board has expressed interest in hosting Bangladesh’s matches for the ICC T20 World Cup, sources said.
Sources within the PCB said that if Sri Lankan venues are not available, Pakistan’s venues are fully prepared and ready to host the matches. Pakistan has already hosted the Champions Trophy and the ICC Women’s Qualifier successfully and can host these matches without difficulty, PCB sources said.
All venues in Pakistan are fully prepared for hosting T20 World Cup matches, according to PCB sources. Bangladesh has decided not to travel to India for its World Cup matches.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has expressed concerns over the security of the team in India.
The ICC has not yet taken a final decision on whether Bangladesh’s matches will be moved to another venue.
