The Bahawalnagar district administration has declared a local holiday across the district on Saturday, May 31, in connection with the annual Urs celebrations of Qibla Alam Hazrat Khawaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi.
According to an official notification issued by the deputy commissioner of Bahawalnagar, all government offices, educational institutions, and public sector organizations in the district will remain closed on Saturday.
The annual Urs of Khwaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi, a revered Sufi saint and spiritual leader, draws thousands of devotees from across the region. The event is marked by special prayers, religious gatherings, and traditional rituals to honour the saint’s legacy of peace, spirituality, and service to humanity.
