United States President Donald Trump disclosed on Wednesday that Qatar Airways had placed an order for 160 Boeing aircraft.
During his media interaction in Doha, President Trump announced the landmark aviation agreement. “Qatar has ordered 160 Boeing planes. The agreement exceeds $200 billion,” President Trump stated while addressing the press in the Qatari capital.
According to President Trump, this strategic accord reflected the flourishing bilateral relations. “The relationship between Qatar and the United States has touched new heights,” he declared.
The media reported that the Qatari government signed the aviation contract with the United States, formally confirming the acquisition of American Boeing aircraft.
In addition to the aviation agreement, President Trump confirmed another milestone contract involving defence cooperation. “There has been an agreement with Qatar regarding the MQ-90 aircraft,” he said, highlighting a further dimension of the bilateral engagements.
The series of agreements came to fruition during a ceremonial event held in Doha, which the foreign media outlet described as a landmark occasion in the strategic partnership between the two nations.
Moreover, the foreign media confirmed that the defence agreements had been signed between the United States and Qatar.
