The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday released a revised list of women candidates for upcoming Senate elections to be held on April 2.
ECP published the revised list of the candidates on the orders of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
PTI leader Sanam Javed was also included in the revised list.
Polling is to be held for two seats reserved for women candidates in Punjab. Four women candidates have fielded their nomination papers for the elections.
Anusha Rehman and Bushra Anjum Butt are contesting elections on PML-N-issued tickets. Faiza Malik has been contesting on the PPP ticket while PTI has fielded Sanam Javed as a woman candidate for elections.
