Liaquat Ali Chattha is a civil servant in Provincial Management Services PMS-20 grade, who served as the Rawalpindi Division Commissioner, confessed and alleged of rigging the elections on Rawalpindi Division national assembly and provincial assembly seats levelling serious allegations on SCP CJ Qazi Faez Isa and ECP CEC Sultan Sikandar Raja.
The commissioner made the shocking statements in a live press conference and pleaded the authorities concerned to hang him at Kacheri’s Chowk over the rigging committed in Elections 2024.
The ECP formed committee to probe the allegations while both ECP and CJP Justice Qazi Faez Isa rejected the allegations and electoral body launched probe into his allegations.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has said that Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha has nothing to do with election process and division head of Rawalpindi must provide proof in support of his allegations.
Who is Liqauat Ali Chattha?
Chattha hails from Hafizabad, Punjab. He started his civil service career as an executive magistrate in 1992. During his tenure, he held various positions in Faisalabad as executive district officer finance from 1992 to 2012.
He then served as deputy secretary at the chief minister's Secretariat during the tenure of former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif. Also, he served as PSO to Hamza Shahbaz at Chief Minister's Secretariat.
Chattha also held positions as deputy commissioner in Gujrat and in March 2017, he was appointed as deputy commissioner Sargodha.
Later he posted as secretary for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health in the Punjab government in September 2022.
Later, he served as secretary for Labor & Human Resource department from September 2021 to December 2021 and then again from May 2022 to Aug 2022 before assuming the role of commissioner in Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) in August 2022.
He also remained a member of the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA).
In his last bombshell media interaction, he claimed of serving in Rawalpindi, by completing the various development projects, including the Ring Road, Daducha Dam, Chahan Dam, Pirwadhai Bus Stand, and Safe City.
In the same media interaction, he confessed of electoral fraud in the division where 11 out of a total of 13 national assembly seats were won by Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) candidates. He claimed complete assitance of ECP CEC and SCP CJ Qazi Faez Isa. However, CJ Qazi Faez Isa rejceted the allegations.
