Gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high on Tuesday amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
According to market details, the price of gold increased by Rs900 per tola at the local level.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) said the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs900 to reach a record Rs481,862 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs771 to Rs413,118. The silver prices also rose, with per tola silver increasing by Rs180 to Rs9,075.
Moreoever, in the international market, gold prices increased by $9 per ounce to reach a record level of $4,595.

Earlier on Monday, the price of gold in Pakistan and globally witnessed a major rise on Monday, taking the rate of the yellow metal to an all-time high.
According to the APSGJA, the price of 24-carat gold increased by a massive Rs7,700 per tola, reaching Rs480,962, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
