Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has reiterated that Pakistan reserves the right to respond in accordance with the United Nations Charter.
Expressing his thoughts on Independent Urdu, Bhutto-Zardari emphasised that the country’s political and military leadership would determine the timing and manner of any response to India. He said the entire nation stood firmly with the Pakistan Army and government in the current situation, highlighting a sense of unity across the country.
"The nation is fully united in the defence of our homeland," Bhutto-Zardari said, adding that there would be no compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty and national security. He said that Pakistan would ensure its defence through all possible means.
Commenting on recent tensions, Bhutto accused India of levelling false and baseless allegations against Pakistan for the past two weeks. He called for an impartial, international investigation into the Pahalgam incident.
