Among the many reviews, Pakistani film critic Taimur Iqbal shared his thoughts, harshly criticizing the film and Ibrahim’s performance. However, what truly sparked controversy was his criticism of Ibrahim’s physical appearance, particularly his nose. This remark did not sit well with the young actor, who allegedly responded by sending an angry and threatening message to the critic in private.

The controversy has divided opinions online. Some criticized the reviewer, arguing that attacking someone's physical features rather than their performance was unprofessional and unnecessary. Others condemned Ibrahim, saying that as a public figure, he should have handled the criticism more maturely rather than responding with threats.
