The Pakistan Army hosted a two-day winter festival in Malam Jabba, a popular tourist destination in the Swat district, to encourage tourists to engage in sports activities.
Competitions in volleyball, badminton, tennis, and tug of war were held during the festival. A good number of tourists from all over Pakistan, including men, women, and children took part in the competition.
Tourists also praised the Pakistan Army for arranging the festivals and predicted that the number of tourists would increase by organizing such kinds of festivals.
Malam Jabba and Kalam are the two popular destinations in the Swat district facing snowfall.
According to the Meteorologocal department, rain and snowfall will continue in the upper parts of the country during the whole month.
