Bangladesh fast bowler Nahid Rana, fielding coach James Pamment and conditioning coach Nathan Kiely have opted out of the forthcoming Pakistan tour.
According to details, BCB Chairman of Cricket Operations Nazmul Abedin said: "Nahid Rana had to face harship for returing from Pakistan due to border tensions between Pakistan and India, this may be the reason of his withdrawal from the tour."
Abedin stated: "Rishad Hossain, who was representing Lahore Qalandars, is now travelling to Pakistan alongside Bangladesh national cricket team. There were few other players who were hesitated initially to travel, but they later got convinced to travel after seeing other team members' readiness to tour Pakistan."
Abedin, while expressing satisfaction over the assurances given by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, said, "The top-level security measures are taken during cricket tours in Pakistan."
It is pertinent to note that the three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start from May 28 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Salman Ali Agha will spearhead the Green Shirts, while Shadab Khan will take on the field as Pakistan's vice-captain.
