The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced its squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan, scheduled to begin on May 25 in Faisalabad.
Star batter Litton Das has been named captain of the national side, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been appointed vice-captain.
The squad features a blend of experience and youth, as Bangladesh looks to build momentum ahead of the upcoming ICC events. Alongside Litton and Mehidy, the selectors have included Soumya Sarkar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain to bolster the batting line-up.

Emerging talents Tanzid Hasan, Mohammad Parvez Hossain Emon, Zakir Hasan, and Rishad Hossain have also been given opportunities to showcase their potential in international cricket.

In the bowling department, the squad includes pace spearhead Mustafizur Rahman, along with Tanvir Islam, Hasan Mahmud, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Young fast bowlers Nahid Rana and Sharifullah Islam complete the line-up, adding depth and variety to the bowling attack.
On April 30, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officially released the schedule for the T20 series against Bangladesh. The series will consist of five T20 matches, with Faisalabad's Iqbal Stadium hosting international cricket after a 17-year hiatus.
According to the PCB announcement, the first two matches will be played in Faisalabad on May 25 and 27. The remaining three matches are scheduled for May 30, June 1, and June 3 in Lahore.
