Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said on Friday that the incumbent government has not even taken the allies on board over the constitutional amendment.
Expressing his thoughts, Haideri said: "When we had asked for the negotiations, then when were shown the draft. The oath had been taken on not sharing the draft with anybody else."
Haideri questioned: "How is legislation possible by keeping things secret?"
"There was a violation of human rights in the governmental draft," he said.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and JUI-F's legal team held a meeting to discuss the matters pertaining to the constitutional amendment.
Both PTI leader Salaman Akram Raja and JUI-F's Kamran Murtaza had presented their proposed plans each.

The two-member committee had considered different proposals to ensure that the PTI and JUI-F will form the joint strategy in the parliament on the constitutional amendment.
– ‘Country neither witnesses political stability nor economic revival’ –
Few days back, JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that neither the country witnesses political stability nor economic revival.
Addressing an event in Karachi, Rehman said: “The friendly countries are expressing their concerns over the economy of the country. The friendly countries are thinking about how to save Pakistan.”
“Our constitution, parliament, and institutions are not saved. Every institution is looking to intervene in the matters of the other institution,” Rehman claimed.
“Our military, judiciary, and parliament need to work by remaining within their respective boundaries. Our each and every institution is going towards weakness,” the JUI-F chief maintained.
He said, “We lead to uncertainty if implementation will not be made on the constitution.”
“There is a need to bring the change with time. The political interest should not be reflected on any of the change. You cannot deceive anybody else with beautiful words,” Rehman added.
Recalling the general elections that happened on February 8, Rehman asserted: “The elections were not happening in the country but rigging.”
