The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) on Friday decreased the prices of branded ghee and cooking oil.
According to the USC spokesperson, the branded cooking oil will be available at Rs519 per litre, which was previously available at Rs529.
The new price of branded ghee had been fixed at Rs 486 per kg, which was previously available at Rs 496.
The USC spokesperson made it clear that the new prices would be effective immediately.
