Karachi continued to experience intense heat, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The current temperature in the city stands at 33°C and is expected to rise up to 37°C later Thursday.
The Met Office reported a low-pressure system over the east-central Arabian Sea, located approximately 1,075 kilometers southeast of Karachi.
The system may intensify into a depression as it moves northward.
However, the department has clarified that there is currently no threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas.
The Cyclone Warning Centre is closely monitoring the situation.
