President Asif Ali Zardari visited the residence of Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf to offer condolences to his family and pay tribute to the fallen hero.
During the visit, he met the martyr's father and family, offering prayers and expressing sympathy. The president stated that the entire nation stands proud of the bravery and sacrifices of its soldiers and will never forget the contributions of their families.

He prayed for the martyr’s highest ranks in the hereafter and for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
Later, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with the army chief Gen Asim Munir, also visited Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf 's residence and met his family. The PM and army chief prayed for the martyred air force officer.

PM Sharif appreciated the determination and sense of duty of Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf during the recent operation against Indian aggression.
Earlier, in his message on the Day of Thanksgiving, President Zardari lauded the armed forces for their professional and powerful response to unprovoked Indian aggression, specifically referencing the success of Operation Banyan Marsus. He thanked God Almighty for the operation’s outcome and praised the military leadership and personnel for their dedication and courage.
“This success belongs not only to the armed forces but to the entire Pakistani nation,” said President Zardari. “The people of Pakistan stand united like a rock in the face of enemy aggression.”
President reaffirmed that Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national interests. He emphasized that while Pakistan is a peaceful nation with no aggressive intentions, any attack on its land will be met with full force.
Rejecting India’s reported unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, President Zardari reiterated that Pakistan would not accept any violations of international agreements or its rightful water resources.
