The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced the beginning of the second phase of Hajj flights, with Pakistani pilgrims now departing for Jeddah from various airports across the country.
From today, pilgrims will land at Jeddah Airport and then be transported directly to Makkah to perform Hajj. On the first day of this phase, two flights carrying 633 Pakistani pilgrims will leave for Jeddah.
The second phase follows the successful completion of the first phase of Hajj departures. On the final day of phase one, 13 flights carried 2,399 pilgrims to Madinah. In total, 145 flights were operated during the first phase, transporting 31,044 Pakistani pilgrims to the holy city of Madinah.
