YouTuber Rajab Butt’s lawyer, Usman Waheed Gujar Advocate, has expressed satisfaction with the court's decision, calling it a positive step for animal rights.
He stated, "We are pleased with the sentence given to my client and will not challenge the verdict on any forum."
The court has ordered Rajab Butt to engage in community service related to animal rights.
According to his lawyer, Rajab Butt will create monthly videos highlighting animal welfare as part of his commitment to the court's decision.

During the hearing, the accused confessed to keeping the lion cub without proper permission or a license. The court's decision states that Rujab Butt will perform community service for one year, starting from February 2025 to January 2026. As part of this service, he must create vlogs about animal rights during the first week of every month.
In his statement, Rujab Butt admitted his mistake, saying, "I now realize that I was not authorized to keep the lion cub. My actions set a bad example, and I submit myself to the mercy of the court." The court further ruled that if the permission officer requires Rujab Butt to appear in person, he must comply.
