A 23-year-old girl named Laiba was shot dead at her home in a firing incident executed by her cousins over a property dispute in Lahore’s Green Town area Wednesday.
The victim’s cousins Tausif, Hafeez, and Bilal started firing over a property dispute. Green Ton Police said a property dispute was going on with the deceased's uncle Abid.
The victim's father Safdar and mother were also injured in the firing. Police said both the injured were shifted to the hospital for medical assistance and their condition was under control.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem, police said. Police are searching for the accused after collecting the evidence from the crime scene.
