Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said federal government has decided to appoint Rizwan Saeed as new ambassador in the United States.
“Asim Iftikhar Ahmed will take over as Permanent Representative in due course. The announcement of appointments is as per usual. It has been decided to appoint Asim Iftikhar as Additional Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations,” the spokesman said.
