Pakistan national cricket team squad expected to be announced on April 8 for the forthcoming home T20I series against New Zealand.
Sources divulged on Thursday that the Pakistan squad is likely to consist of 18 players. The meeting of the selectors is expected to take place on April 7.
The national selection committee had decided to include additional players instead of the traditional 15-member squad.
Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Yousuf, Asad Shafiq, Abdul Razzaq, Bilal Afzal, Hassan Cheema and Usman Wahla were part of the selection committee.
Pakistan and New Zealand will lock horns in a five-match T20I series slated to be held from April 18.
