Pakistan has issued a flood alert after India formally informed Islamabad about the possibility of high flood flows in the Sutlej, Ravi, and Chenab rivers.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, the Indian High Commission conveyed the warning regarding expected inflows, prompting authorities to issue an alert for potentially high flood waves.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has directed provincial disaster management bodies to take precautionary measures and ensure timely warnings to residents living near rivers and streams.

Officials urged communities residing along riverbanks to remain vigilant and follow instructions from the local administration to ensure safety.
