Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said on Friday that it was a golden opportunity for the Pakistan cricketers to perform well and defeat their arch-rivals in the forthcoming match in Colombo on February 15.
Speaking on Samaa TV programme ‘Zor Ka Jor’, Afridi urged the Green Shirts to play a minimum of dot balls and to address any shortcomings in the fielding department.
Meanwhile, former off-spinner Tauseef Ahmed requested the Salman Ali Agha-led side to focus fully on the game, adding that this was the perfect time to become heroes for Pakistan.
It is pertinent to note that both Pakistan and India will face each other on Sunday. Both sides entered the match with high confidence, having won their first two games of Group A.
