Police have launched an investigation after the girl was found dead in the tuition centre's washroom.
A 10-year-old girl was found dead at a private tuition centre in Lahore's Ichhra area, prompting police to launch an investigation. The girl's family alleged that Naeema had left home to attend tuition classes. They said they received a phone call and reached the centre, where they found the child dead. They also said there were clear rope marks on her neck.
According to the family, the girl was taken to Services Hospital, where doctors confirmed her death after an examination.
The police sources said the owner of the house has been taken into custody. Police said it is too early to determine whether the girl's death was the result of murder or an accident, and that the post-mortem examination will establish the facts.
Moreover, the police said the investigation is continuing from several angles.
