The government has decided to recognise overseas Pakistanis with civil awards in acknowledgment of their services.
Details that emerged on Friday said that distinguished overseas Pakistanis will receive civil awards during the Pakistan Day ceremony in March 2026.
The federal government has also introduced a benefits package for Pakistanis living abroad. It will include a comprehensive set of privileges for expatriates and their families.
The overseas package will feature a next-generation membership card equipped with modern security features.
