The gold price in Pakistan remained stable on Thursday, while silver continued its upward trajectory, reflecting both local demand and global market movements.
In the Pakistani market, 24-karat gold per tola remained available at Rs528,562. The price of 10 grams of gold also remained same as the previous day, at Rs453,156.
Moreover, 10g of 22-karat gold maintained its rate at Rs415,408 per tola.
On the global stage, gold remained available for $5,058 per ounce, retaining its momentum affecting local rates.
Silver prices climb
However, silver prices in Pakistan saw a rise, with the price per tola increasing by Rs90 to be available at Rs8,825. The price of 10g of 24-karat silver hiked by Rs78 to be sold for Rs7,566.
The steady rise in silver mirrors the bullish trend seen in the gold market, suggesting growing investor interest in precious metals.
