According to the advisory, hackers may steal users’ sensitive data and stored information through these browsers. Users of both desktop and mobile devices could be affected, the advisory warns.
To mitigate the risk, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team has recommended precautionary measures. Users are advised to install the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Additionally, it is recommended that users restrict access to unverified websites to enhance cybersecurity.
