Samsung has officially stopped releasing updates for its popular Galaxy S21 series, leaving millions of users without new security patches.
Launched in 2021, the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra initially came with a promise of four years of major Android upgrades and five years of security updates. With this period now over, Samsung will no longer provide updates for these devices.
According to TechRadar, Samsung has updated its official security update webpage, removing all Galaxy S21 series models from the list.
Without updates, users will no longer receive new software features or improvements, and the absence of security patches could make the devices more vulnerable to hackers and fraudsters. Over time, unsupported devices may also lose compatibility with certain apps.
