Pakistan’s reply began briskly, with Sahibzada Farhan scoring 47 off 31 balls and Saim Ayub contributing 24 from 13 deliveries. However, regular wickets in the middle overs stalled the chase and brought the Netherlands back into the contest.
With Pakistan struggling at 114 for seven, Faheem Ashraf turned the match on its head. His unbeaten 29 from 11 balls ensured Pakistan crossed the line with three balls to spare.
Faheem Ashraf was named Player of the Match for his decisive contribution with the bat.
