Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Shoaib Siddiqui Shoaib Siddiqui commended on Wednesday Pakistan's Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos on May 10, saying it resulted in the destruction of India’s air defence system.
Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Siddiqui paid tribute to the chief of army staff, the chief of air staff and the naval chief. He declared the operation a major success not only for Pakistan's military but also on the diplomatic front.
Siddiqui emphasised that following this success, discussions regarding the Indus Waters Treaty and the Kashmir issue would now carry more weight. He also expressed regret that some individuals on social media continued to criticise the armed forces, despite their achievements.

Separately on Monday, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif issued a stern warning to India on Monday, saying that any future provocation would be met with an even stronger response, as he outlined the key conditions under which Pakistan would be willing to engage in dialogue with New Delhi.
Speaking informally to journalists at Parliament House and later addressing the media in Islamabad, Asif said that if talks between the two countries are held, they will strictly focus on Kashmir, terrorism, and water-related issues. “If Modi’s India makes any move now, the entire world will see the second installment of Pakistan's response,” he warned bluntly.
