Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday presided over a high-level security meeting to review the ongoing situation following Indian aggression.
According to official sources, the forum conducted a detailed assessment of India’s recent hostilities and reviewed Pakistan’s strategic response. The participants were also briefed on recent drone attacks and the swift countermeasures taken by Pakistani forces.
The meeting reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to giving a "befitting response" to any provocation by India. Officials reported that Pakistan had successfully downed 25 Israeli-made Indian drones in recent days.
The forum vowed to avenge the martyrdom of Pakistani civilians caused by the drone strikes. “Every drop of Pakistani blood will be accounted for,” the participants agreed.
The meeting concluded with a strong resolve from the country’s leadership to continue robust retaliatory actions against Indian attempts to destabilize the region.
