The Uzbek FM extended a cordial invitation to PM Sharif on behalf of Uzbek President Shaukat Mirziyev, a gesture that was warmly acknowledged and reciprocated with gratitude.
Expressing determination to expedite ongoing projects with Uzbekistan, the prime minister emphasized the need for concerted efforts to facilitate Uzbekistan's access to Pakistani ports.
Additionally, there was a shared resolve to accelerate the completion of the transformative Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway project, underscoring the commitment to regional connectivity and economic integration.
Prior to his meeting with PM Shehbaz Sharif, Mr Saidov was warmly received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
During their interaction, Dar underscored the robust and friendly relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing Pakistan's keenness to enhance cooperation across various domains, particularly in trade and commerce.
