Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars are set to face off in the second Eliminator of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL X) at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore today (Friday).
The Qalandars will enter the match with confidence after defeating Karachi Kings in Eliminator 1 on Thursday at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The winner of today’s match will progress to the final, where they will meet Quetta Gladiators. This marks the Gladiators’ first appearance in the final of the marquee domestic tournament since 2019. The Qalandars have secured two titles to date, whereas United remain the most successful team in the competition’s history, with three titles.
Led by Shadab Khan, United will aim to overpower the Qalandars and book their spot in the PSL X final, as they also enter the contest as defending champions.
