Moments before Nawaz Sharif's special flight landed at the Islamabad airport, his daughter Maryam Nawaz posted on her X account that this was probably the biggest day of her life.
"I am grateful to Allah Almighty. The pains and sufferings that Nawaz Sharif has endured in the last 24 years are hardly comparable to anything. There are some wounds that will never heal. But whatever rise Nawaz Sharif has seen, no one will ever be able to achieve. Today, Pakistan is going to see another rise of Nawaz Sharif, God willing!"
