Former US President Donald Trump has condemned a highly inappropriate video featuring Barack Obama and his wife Michelle that was shared on his social media account, but he has refused to apologize for its posting.
According to international news agencies, the video, which appeared on Trump’s Truth Social account, depicted the former president and first lady as monkeys dancing in a jungle at the end of the clip. The one-minute video remained online for approximately 12 hours before being removed.

The initial part of the video reiterated baseless claims of election fraud, while the controversial AI-generated segment featuring the Obamas was included only at the end.
When reporters asked Trump whether he would apologize for the video, he firmly responded, “No, I did nothing wrong.” He claimed that he had not watched the entire clip, only the first part, which he believed was “perfectly fine.”
However, Trump acknowledged that the final segment - where the faces of Barack and Michelle Obama were superimposed onto monkey bodies - may have been mistakenly posted by a staff member.
