Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Musadik Malik, said on Friday that the youth will be provided with technology and investment to protect the environment in Pakistan.
Addressing the ceremony, Federal Minister Musadik Malik said: “We need to guide our younger generation. The youth alone can bring a climate revolution to this country. Finland carried out revolutionary work to save its forests.”
“Ten years ago, Shanghai and Beijing were the most polluted cities in the world. Today, China is the world’s largest supplier of green energy. Chinese youth have protected the environment through modern environmental technology,” he said.
“The government has launched the Green Field Programme to protect the environment. The private sector and international organisations should play their role in environmental protection in Pakistan," the federal minister maintained.
